Shipping and Handling

Shipping Charges : Shipping charges are based on total price of your items your purchasing. Oversized and heavy items will have additional shipping costs associated with them. These charges may not be calculated until the order is being prepared for shipment. An example of this could be an ATV fender that when you made the order the system calculated the shipping to be around $30.00 it's more like $90.00 when you factor the oversize surcharges. We don't want our customers to be surprised please be aware that UPS and U.S. Postal Service surcharge for these oversize and heavy items. It is cost effective for large heavy orders to be shipped truck freight if have a means to unload them.

Notification of Charges :We will notify you if there is an increase in the shipping charge prior to processing your order. We will give you an approximate cost for shipping in the event you order a oversized or heavy item.

Methods of Shipping: We ship via UPS Ground or U.S. Postal Service in the continental US. Shipments to Alaska,Hawaii or International will have an additional shipping cost applied.

Delivery Time: Allow 4-10 business days (business day is Monday-Friday) for delivery of non-backordered items in the continental US. Allow additional time for shipments to Alaska,Hawaii and International Orders.

Split Orders: Complete orders will be shipped together unless you agree to be responsible for additional shipping charges. In the event you elect to exercise this option please call customer service at 1-877-999-5686 (Toll Free) or email us at info@partshark.com and will be happy to accommodate you.


Read the PartShark.com Return Policy

Return Authorization : Return Authorization can be requested by emailing us at info@partshark.com. All returns must be accompanied by a Return Authorization Number, known as "RTA" number and a copy of the invoice. We must be notified within 24 hours of receipt of any missing, defective, or damaged products.

Original packaging in good condition : All non-damaged products must be original packaging (undisturbed). All products must be suitable to return to our supplier or resell. All products must be free from scratches,dents,tear,signs of wear,writing on package of any kind- no exceptions. If PartShark.com receives your return with any damages or missing the original packaging the item will be rejected. You will be responsible for shipping to send back to you in the event your return is rejected for any reason.

Returns on electrical parts and decals : No returns on electrical parts or decals. Sorry no exceptions

15-Day return period : Returns MUST be RECEIVED no later than 15 days from the date it was delivered to you (as shown on the delivery confirmation system.

Closeout items : PartShark.com does not accept returns on closeout items.

Why you have to pay the restocking fee of 20% : We charge a modest 20% restock fee for OEM parts orders that meet our return criteria. The manufacturer charges Partshark.com a 20% restocking for returned OEM parts as long as they are returned in 15 days. we are willing to absorb the shipping from PartShark to the manufacturer but must pass on the 20% restocking fees.

Original shipping charges are not refundable. Returns must be preauthorized by us and are subject to a 20% re-stocking fee. These amounts will be deducted from the original amount billed and the remaining balance will be credited to the original credit card or PayPal account.

Incorrect part or item received : In the event you receive incorrect part, product, or item and PartShark is responsible for the error, notify us immediately. You will not incur any additional charges in most cases. We will replace incorrect item(s) and pay the additional shipping charges. In the event you ordered the wrong part or item(s) refer to the return policy above. Example, you thought you ordered an YZFR6 right lower fairing in blue and really you ordered a red fairing. In this case you would follow the return process under "Return Authorization"

You ordered the incorrect Size : In the event you ordered incorrect size for whatever reason, no problem. We have a few stipulations for exchanging apparel or gear. The apparel or gear item cannot of been worn for any period of time. The apparel item must have all the original tags still intact. No apparel exchanges on a closeouts discontinued item(s). The apparel item must be in its undisturbed packaging. You must exchange the apparel item for the same item in a different size. You pay the shipping charges to us and back to you (both ways).

You ordered the incorrect item : In the event you order a item and you decide it wasn't what you needed, no problem. All aftermarket parts and accessories can be exchanged as long as it meets PartShark.com return conditions described in "Read the PartShark.com Return Policy". All OEM parts returns that meet PartShark.com return conditions will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. You will be responsible for the shipping charges. You must have an "RTA" number to exchange or return the item(s), follow the procedure under "Return Authorization" above. The replacement item must be at least the value of the original item.

Return Shipping Instructions : Return via prepaid UPS or U.S. Postal Service mail. We will not accept any C.O.D. shipments. Insure the shipment for full value of purchase. Use original packaging if possible or equivalent safe packaging. We are not responsible for packages lost during return shipping.

Return/Exchange Instructions : Enclose a copy of your "RTA" Number (write RTA number on shipping package) and copy of original invoice along with details return/exchange instructions.

Cancelling an Order

If you need to cancel an order (or a portion of an order) : Send an email to info@partshark.com or call customer service 877-999-5686. OEM parts can be cancelled with no restocking charges if you cancel before we have time to process your order, usually just a few hours after you create an order. We process orders during normal business hours. In the event your cancellation request is after the order is processed, it will be charged the normal 20% restocking charge.

Why do you have to pay a 20% restocking charge on cancelled orders : We return all OEM parts to the manufacturer and in doing so are incure 2 costs: PartShark incures the shipping cost and the restocking charges. We will absorb the shipping but must pass on the restocking charges.


Sales Tax

Indian Residents : Any order being shipped to any Indiana address will be charged Indiana Sales Tax of 7%.


Payment Methods

Orders accepted via secure online order form only. Most major credit cards are accepted. Credit card purchases verified for your protection.


Backordered Items

Backorders: If an item is backordered, we will attempt to notify you via e-mail. Shipments scheduled more than 30 days after the order date: We will notify you via email and give you a cancellation option. Filling backorders: Backorders will be filled before new orders when the backordered items become available.

Back Orders Advise: It's a common misconception that if a particular dealer has your part on back order and you find it on another site that if you order that part from the other dealer and cancel the part from the first dealer, that you will get the part. No, just because it's on their site doesn't mean they have the part. If they have the part in stock then you may elect to cancel from the first dealer and avoid any back orders. In most cases the second dealer will end up ordering for you and your order will remain on back order with a greater delivery time.
