Why do you require signatures for some orders?

We require signatures for three reasons. A signature helps us prevent fraud, theft, and confirms delivery for insurance purposes.
If someone may not be there to sign for an order then it is the customers responsibility to let us know so we may remove this requirement... PartShark.com assumes no liability for lost or stolen packages if you request to remove the signature reuirement.

UPS ONLY - Please not that change of “Signature Requirement” and/or “Delivery Address” can be done online by the recipient using the "UPS My Choice" free service http://www.ups.com/mychoice/; the service will give you full control of the package because you will be identity verified when you sign up for the account online and it will work with all your future UPS shipments from anywhere.


What are the shipping charges?

The United States minimum shipping & handling price is $9.99; The INTERNATIONAL minimum shipping & handling price is $50.00 USD...

How long does it take to get parts; Do you stock all my parts?

It is almost impossible for any dealership to keep all the parts in their stock for every brand, and every single model, color, and year. Like almost all powersports dealerships and online OEM parts retailers, we keep very limited stock on hand and order almost all parts through the manufacturers on daily basis. Since none of the manufacturers in our industry drop ship parts directly to end customers and they only ship parts to authorized dealerships like us, it usually takes us about 3-5 business days to get the parts from the manufacturer and then ship them out.

Total ordering, handling, shipping, & delivery time for United States: about 4-10 Days
Total ordering, handling, shipping, & delivery time for CANADA & AUSTRALIA: about 12-20 Days
Total ordering, handling, shipping, & delivery time for rest of the WORLD: about 15-25 Days

This is a guide if everything goes correctly, given current world effects more time should be expected and do not make plans or set expectations based on this estimate alone. Currently shipping companies make no guarantees on delivery dates, therefore we cannot make guarantees on dates.


Do you sell genuine (OEM) parts and accessories?

YES, the parts listed in our parts fiche/diagrams are Genuine Factory OEM Parts; we are an authorized dealership of all the brands we carry, and we get the genuine parts directly from the manufacturer. Which includes genuine accessories from Can-Am, Sea-Doo, Kawasaki, Yamaha, and Polaris.


Do you offer special pricing or programs for motorcycle shops and businesses?

We currently offer some of the LOWEST OEM prices online by default to all our customers B2C & B2B across the board; the slim profit margins we are running at do not allow us to offer any special discounts... But, we are working on a program for those legitimate shops that need a reliable source for (OEM) parts. The applicant will have to provide proof of business and have qualifying orders to start out.


Do you carry parts for older or vintage bikes?

Yes, but we need to caution you, many of the older parts on the Parts Fische are no longer available. If you place an order with parts not available we will contact you through email to determine the order status BEFORE processing your order... If the parts needed are no longer available, there may be an aftermarket source that makes a replacement part for the discontinued item.

Also, please note that the manufacturers do supersede many part numbers for the older vintage bikes, when they do so, the new parts function exactly like to old ones or even better in many cases, but they may look or feel different though


Does my credit card get charged when I submit an order online?

YES, the payment gateway charges your credit card and/or captures your PayPal payment at the time you submit your order.


Can I add items to my existing order?

Top

Unfortunately we are not able to add to an existing order. If additional parts are needed, please submit a second order online for the parts you would like to add, we will adjust the shipping charge on that second order and fully or partially refund you back for the extra shipping. Orders will be combined, and will have them shipped together.

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO TYPE IN THE “COMMENTS SECTION” DURING CHECKOUT THAT YOU WANT THE TWO ORDERS TO BE COMBINED.


How will I know if an item is placed on backorder or has been discontinued?

We will contact you via email as soon as we find out if you have any parts are on backorder or have been discontinued.
There are occasions a part may be backordered only temporarily... To keep costs down and prices low, we ship orders complete.


How do you ship an order?

Top

Orders placed with PartShark.com are shipped through primarly UPS although we also use FedEx and U.S Postal Service when UPS isn't the best option. Large orders and orders for frames, body panels, UTV plows etc. will be shipped via a freight trucking service.

Additional shipping charges will be applied for "Oversized Freight". These charges will not be present at the checkout, there added later as needed.


Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship internationally on a daily basis. The customer is responsible for any additional shipping costs to these locations.
We will contact you via email with the updated shipping costs before processing your order. Please refer to our international orders page for more details.


How do I return an item?

Top

Returned packages without a return merchandise authorization number (RMA) will NOT be accepted, and will be charged the return freight as well as additional freight back to the customer.
